"In the past few years, I've been developing a greater understanding of the art of children and family portraiture. The rise in department-store photography has forced the professional photographer to be more creative and strive to be different. This challenge excites me. While just any photographer can produce a likeness of your child, it is my desire to bring out his or her's individuality.

As a father of four children I understand the desire for a quality portrait of your children. The special remembrances of their childhood and the way we interact and care for each other are what I feel should be the substance of your portrait. I understand the moods of children and the heartwarming expressions they make. Smiles are just one of those expressions, but there are so many others. Sometimes while interacting with their surroundings, your children give you a look, or that special smirk that's uniquely theirs. Capturing personality is what I feel photography is all about. It is my desire to bring out that special bond in your family while still capturing each individual personality.
